The Gold Medal Concours is in the conference center behind the clubhouse and adjacent to the Vintage Cup banquet tent. |
Friday, September 19 | |
8 AM | Concours building opens for installations |
9 AM | Concours opens |
5 PM | Concours closes |
5:30 | Shooting Sportsman cocktail party (open to all; on the lawn adjacent to the Concours) |
Saturday, September 20 | |
7:30 AM | NRA coffee |
8 AM | NRA Breakfast (open by invitation to registered entrants) |
9 AM | Concours opens |
9:30 – 1:00 | Judging |
5 PM | Concours closes |
6 PM | Drawing of the winning ticket in the Concours .470 Searcy raffle to benefit NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action (at the Vintage Cup cocktail party; on the lawn adjacent to the Concours) |
Sunday, September 21 | |
8 – 10 AM | Concours building is open for removal of displays. |
3:30 PM | Vintage Cup & Gold Medal Concours Award ceremony (on the green near the food tent) |
For Entrants displaying guns: |
1. Registered Concours entrants have free admission to The Vintage Cup. |
2. Display schedule is flexible to accommodate entrants’ travel schedules, and entrants may temporarily remove their own guns if they wish to use them in The Vintage Cup. Guns must be on display on Saturday morning to be judged, however. Those who remove guns may be asked to show ID. |
3. The Concours is in a secure, climate-controlled building. Display tables will have cloth coverings. Uniformed security will protect the Concours building overnight. |
