A rifle and a pair of guns—all American, all unique
To thank the NRA for its enthusiastic support of the Concours, the GMC has created a second fund-raiser. This one benefits the NRA Foundation, which supports the dozens, even hundreds of shooting and hunting programs that the National Rifle Association administers for young and old alike across our country.
Unlike the GMC’s NRA-ILA Benefit Sweepstakes, which depends on the luck of the draw, this is a online auction. You may be sure of “winning” the gun of your choice by placing the highest bid before the gavel falls on September 24.
Every shooter should be grateful to Doug Turnbull and to the Ruger company for these generous donations to the cause. Like the NRA-ILA Benefit Sweepstakes, the Concours NRA Foundationonline auction is a win-win situation: The winning bidders receive not only superb and unique guns, but a portion of their bids are also tax-deductible; and the proceeds of the auction go to the NRA Foundation.
The auction guns were introduced at GMC IX, the 9th Gold Medal Concours, in Hainesville, Illinois, on May 14. The bidding will begin on August 24 at GunBroker.com and end on September 24, 2005 at 4:00 PM.
To view the two auction lots, please go to Online Auction Guns.
To place a bid, please go to www.gunbroker.com after August 24, 2005 and look on the home page for the NRA Charity Auction. GunBroker.com has generously agreed to handle this NRA fundraiser at no cost. Online Auction Rules.
